Arena Craft & Flatwork Clinic with Katie 15th September @10am

A great opportunity to learn what arena craft is about, and to help improve your score for the 'Flatwork phase' in the Working Equitation competition.

Held at - Bay of Islands dressage group arena's at the Kaikohe Showgrounds; for members only.

We ask that you park on the hard surface parking area at this stage of the season, there are no hay nets allowed in the car park but you are welcome to use the yards where your horse can have hay but remember to always clean up your horses poo (preferably taking it home with you) and the yards must be left clean & tidy.

We will start the day with a Question & Answer unmounted session so if you have any questions on your flatwork test then bring them along, coffee & tea will be provided but bring your own mug & hotwater.

We will be able to walk movements in the arena & have a discussion on what will be looked for in each movement.

Then you will get the chance to ride those movements, we will most likely do this in group levels.

You are most welcome to come along unmounted & just watch if you wish.

Our group is affiliated to NZ Working Equitation so we work under the National rules, which have been updated since last season to check out the full rules Click Here
